Xiaomi has announced a Xiao Ai voice assistant update during its MIDC develop conference. Xiao Ai 3.0 brings a male voice option and adds “naturally continuous dialogue” for smartphone users. According to Gizchina, the manufacturer also introduced a few other features of AI phone assistant, voice remote control and Xiao Ai shortcut 2.0. Currently, this update is only supported by the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G and Xiaomi Mi 9.

XIAO AI 3.0 other features:
The new Xiao Ai Student 3.0 realizes the first continuous natural voice dialogue (full-duplex) on the smartphone. You just have to wake up the voice assistant and speak the voice command continuously. Interestingly, you can interrupt at any time and issue new instructions.

Its voice assistant has become an ‘AI Phone Assistant’, so the user won’t miss any important calls. You can also recognize the content of the call as a text, for which you just have to tap the intelligently generated reply, and Xiao Ai will convert the reply into a voice and convey it to the other party.

Earthquake alerts with MIUI 11:
As per Gsmarena report, Xiaomi is integrating an earthquake alert warning system for phones on MIUI 11 and Mi TV devices within seconds of the arrival of the first quake wave with EMUI 11.

Reportedly, this system first launched on September 20 in the testing phase and Xiaomi is soon expected to expand the program to all of mainland China.
