This is not the first time Google has got in touch with a Bollywood actor. In 2018, it had collaborated with Yash Raj Films as part of promotions for Thugs of Hindostan. The deal saw cars on Google Maps turning into a horse with Aamir Khan’s character, Firangi riding it on the screen and giving you directions. Interestingly, the film also had Amitabh Bachchan in an important role.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will be seen next in Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo. The film, which also stars Ayushmann Khurrana, is set to release directly through an OTT platform on June 12. The story of the film revolves around two scheming men getting caught up in a game of one upmanship, each one attracting other members to their clan and each one with an agenda of his own.
