Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 is all set to be unveiled, but the details about the launch date are still under wraps. However, there may be some clarity available now. Xiaomi has announced a product launch event in China on November 6 on its Mall app. Speculation is that the Chinese smartphone maker would be launching the much-awaited Redmi Note 6 on that day, reported bgr.in.

Xiaomi shared a poster, which reveals the launch date and the time of the event - 2:00 PM. The large-sized Chinese text on the poster translates into “wonderful upgrade”. Rumors are rife that the company may announce the Redmi Note 6 at the event ahead of China’s 11/11 Singles Day shopping festival.

After launching Redmi Note 5 Pro in the country this year, Xiaomi launched the same phone as Redmi Note 5 in China. Again, in September, the phone-maker introduced Redmi Note 6 Pro in Thailand, which is yet to arrive in other major markets across the globe.

The report also mentioned that a promotional image of the smartphone has been spotted on Weibo that shows that it would be equipped with AI-driven cameras along with 20-megapixel + 2-megapixel front-facing cameras.

The phone is likely to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, and will be powered by 4,000mAh battery. It will feature a 6.26-inch notched screen. Multiple variants including 32GB storage+3GB RAM, 64GB storage+4GB RAM, and 64GB storage+6GB RAM are expected to be available

On the camera front it is likely to sport a combination of 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors. The rear design of the phone will almost remain same as that of Redmi Note 5.

The device is likely to be available in 4 colours- black, blue, red, and Rose Gold.
