Now go to the three dots on the right corner of your phone's WhatsApp.
Open link device and Choose 'Link a Device' option. 
Scan the QR code on your desktop through your phone to link your account.
You're all set to use WhatsApp on your computer.

Step-by-step guidance - how to download WhatsApp Desktop on your PC:
Open your computer browser.
Go to the WhatsApp Download page and download the .exe or .dmg file.
After the completion of the download, open that file and follow the prompts and let the installation be completed.
Now, you can use WhatsApp on your computer.

Note: WhatsApp Web and Desktop are web-based extensions of your phone's WhatsApp account. Your messages are synchronised between your phone and computer, and you can see them on both.
