Notably, Whatsapp group video calls with the maximum of 4 persons is already in the pipeline. The beta app, updated to version 2.18.60, has a group audio call feature, which has been rolled out to select users.

This new feature was first spotted by WABetaInfo.

"WhatsApp for iOS 2.18.60: group audio calls UI. [AVAILABLE FOR A FEW USERS ONLY.. PLEASE WAIT]," tweeted WABetaInfo last week.

The maximum number of group members allowed to enter a group audio chat is yet to be known.

WABetaInfo also said the new beta version has introduced Select all option in the main screen. After tapping the action bar button, the available options could be seen.

"You can see here the Select all quick option, that allows to select all chats in order to mark all them as read. You can also use Select all to archive all chats," WABetaInfo said.

"To force the Select all option to appear in the action menu, you need to select at least one chat first, otherwise the option won’t be available," it added.
