You can pin as many as three chats on both the operating systems.

Stop Auto-Download of Media

The unwanted media files can eat up a lot of space your smartphone. At the same, they are highly annoying. To avoid this, you need yo go to settings, open chats and turn off save incoming media. After this, you will have to manually download the media files from the chat window.

You can also bookmark important messages and find them for future references. On iOS devices, you need to open chats, go to the specific window and double-tap on the message you want to bookmark. You can use WhatsApp info to find out who you text the most. Go to settings, open Data and Storage Usage, tap on Storage Usage and you’ll see a list of your most important groups and contacts ranked according to the data you’ve expended on them.
