WhatsApp trick: Here is how to turn images, selfies into Stickers
Now, to enhance the user experience, the platform has come up with a new feature to make its users Christmas and New Year celebrations better than ever before.
WhatsApp Stickers - a feature that was released earlier this year by the Facebook-owned instant messaging app - has become a huge hit among the users. In fact, the most searched ‘how to’ in India in 2018 was the "how to send stickers on WhatsApp." The feature became more popular after the social media giant introduced a Diwali sticker pack, especially designed for the Indian users. Now, to enhance the user experience, the platform has come up with a new feature to make its users' Christmas and New Year celebrations better than ever before.
The new update allows the users to personalise their WhatsApp stickers. The messaging app will now allow the users to convert any image and selfie into a sticker and send it to their friends, relatives, and colleagues. For this, the users will have to download and use ‘Sticker Studio – Sticker Maker for WhatsApp’.
How to turn images, selfies into WhatsApp Stickers?
1. Go to Google Play Store and download ‘Sticker maker for WhatsApp’ app on your phone.
2. Open the app and select 'Create a new sticker pack' option.
3. Give a name to the sticker app.
4. Add the sticker pack's icon and select the next tray to add customised WhatsApp Sticker.
5. The app will ask the users to take a photo or import one from the gallery.
6. Select and image and crop it if required.
7. Save the image and add more customised stickers using the above-mentioned steps.
8. Publish the stickers pack.
9. The users will get an option to add the pack to their WhatsApp account. Accept and open the chat.
10. Send these customised stickers to WhatsApp contacts.
WhatsApp Stickers were released this year as a 'new way for people to express themselves with stickers'. "Whether with a smiling teacup or a crying broken heart, stickers help you share your feelings in a way that you can't always express with words. To start, we're launching sticker packs created by our designers at WhatsApp and a selection of stickers from other artists," the company had said in a blog post.
