The “Forwarding Info” feature will let you know how many times a message you have sent to your friends has been forwarded. To check this information the user will need to go to Message Info section. To access this section, the user needs to select the sent message and then click on option (i) icon on top of the WhatsApp chat window.

According to WABetaInfo, this new feature will only allow the users to see the count of forwarded messages if you have sent it to others. If in case you want to check the forwarded count for the message you have received, then you will have to forward the same to your contacts and follow the same steps to get the count.
