The new WhatsApp feature will allow you to share contact details with QR codes. As per a report by WABetainfo.com, the new feature is still being developed. Once ready, this will end the need to share your number digit-by-digit with anyone. Instead of that, you will be able to do that just by sending a QR code.

WABetainfo said on its website, "WhatsApp is working right now on a new feature that allows to quickly add contacts directly in the application. It was already possible in the past, but WhatsApp wanted to start to redesign this functionality on IOS and Android, making it easier to use."

The underdevelopment feature will allow users to safely send or receive contact details with QR code and the sender will also be able to revoke the QR code, which will stop it from letting other future users to scan it to get the contact information.

QR codes are actually not new to the WhatsApp. A user requires to scan the QR code to logging into WhatsApp via a laptop or desktop computer.
