These WhatsApp features are available to those who have the latest version in their phone. In the still ongoing festive season in India, people have used new WhatsApp Stickers features extensively for sending Dhanteras and Diwali wishes.

WhatsApp Sticker Update Download: Those who have still not received the WhatsApp Sticker Update, can get it by downloading the latest version from the WhatsApp website. You should be cautious against downloading it from any other site as it may contain malware which will not only affect your phone but will also lead stealing of your personal data, as some people have found to their cost.

WhatsApp Swipe to Reply: Gone are the days when you have to select a message to reply to it. Swipe right to reply is another interesting chatting feature that WhatsApp has incorporated to quicken the chatting experience. With the latest version of the app, you just need to swipe right any message to imply a reply to it.

WhatsApp Status Privacy Update: You might have been updating your WhatsApp status frequently and you may feel the need to make it visible for only certain people. To make this a reality, WhatsApp has also rolled out WhatsApp Status Privacy. Using this feature, you can select the people who can see your status update.

To use this feature, click on 'Status' option in the top bar. Then click on the three dots at the upper right corner. It will show two options - 'Status Privacy' and 'Settings'. Click on Status privacy and select from the available three options for 'Who can see your status update' -


* My contacts: This is a default. If you let it unchanged, anyone in your contact will be able to see your status.

* My Contacts Except..: This is the second option. If you select it, it will ask you to choose from the list of your contact you want to hide status from.

* Only Share With: The third option WhatsApp offers is 'Only share with'. If you select it, it will ask you to choose the contacts with whom you want to share your WhatsApp status.
