WhatsApp Forward Media With Caption: Instant messaging app WhatsApp has been testing several features of late and also rolling out some. It recently announced its 'forward media with caption' feature. According to some reports, the feature is now available for Android users. The new feature will let WhatsApp users share media with a caption. Also, users can use this feature to remove captions from media files like documents, photos, videos and GIFs.

Meta-owned WhatsApp introduced the feature on iOS last month. This feature has now been rolled out to Android users as well. It gives more power to users by letting them control what to forward with the media.

WhatsApp's 'Forward Media With a Caption - Steps to use 

 

Step 1: Open the WhatsApp application

Step 2: Go to your chats.

Step 3: Select the media file from the chat you want to forward to your contacts.

Step 4: Click on the forward icon. 

Step 5: As soon as you do this, the image will appear along with the caption. This will also have the option to cancel the caption.

Step 6: If you want to forward the media with a caption, select contact details and send.

Also, WhatsApp is adding several new features this year. It will be rolling out a new interface for the 'Companion Mode' feature. This feature will let users use the app on a secondary device as well. Along with it, the instant messaging app is likely to release a new status feature.
