SpaceX has successfully launched the Falcon 9 rocket. The rocket has successfully landed on a drone ship and has completed the second stage with the successful deployment of the JCSAT-14 satellite in the Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit.

The rocket is currently in the advanced stage of the deployment of the satellite and is expected to land safely.​

SpaceX had recently successfully landed the Falcon 9 on a platform planted over the sea during a test.  

The company was expected to launch the rocket on Thursday but decided to postpone it due to the unfavourable weather conditions.
