Reliance Jio's feature phone JioPhone 2 went on flash sale on August 16. The next flash sale is scheduled at 12 pm on August 30. Though the phone is priced at Rs 2,999, a buyer will have to pay Rs  3,098 as Jio is charging Rs 99 as delivery fee too.

If you have bought JioPhone 2, then you would be eager to find out when it will be delivered to you. While the provision of general date is there, the actual time, in terms of days, that will elapse between the purchase period and the moment that you get the phone in your hand, has now been revealed. However, you have to wait a little more for the much-anticipated update of WhatsApp on your JioPhone. Jio has been rolling out Youtube and WhatsApp update on the Jio devices in batches.

Once it rolls out the update for your device, you will get a message/notification to update your phone. After the update, you will be able to use Youtube and WhatsApp on the phone.

JioPhone has support for over 20 Indian languages.

JioPhone 2 is powered by a 2,000 mAh battery and comes with a horizontal 2.4-inch QVGA display. The QWERTY keypad phone runs on KAI operating system and has 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal memory (expandable up to 128GB), a 2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera.
