Vivo has launched its new smartphone – the Vivo V19 – in India, after about 45 days of delay from the initial launch date. The smartphone comes with a dual punch hole camera for selfies and a 4500 mAh battery. The other highlights of the smartphone include a quad rear camera setup and faster charging technology. The smartphone was scheduled to launch in the last week of March but was delayed due to the nation-wide lockdown. It will compete against Samsung Galaxy A71 among others in the country.

The vivo V19 price in India starts at Rs 27,990 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage - the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant would cost you Rs 31,990. The smartphone will go on sale starting May 15,2020 via vivo India E-store, Amazon.in, Flipkart and other major e-commerce websites along with all offline partner retail stores across India. It will be available in two colour options – Piano Black and Mystic Silver. 

Vivo V19 features and specs

The smartphone comes with a 6.44-inch LIV Super AMOLED FHD+ display made of the latest E3 OLED and features an aspect ratio of 20:9. It has support for HDR 10 standard and offers up to 1200 nits in some conditions. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor, which was also used on last year’s Vivo Z1 Pro. The phone supports an in-display finger scanner.

On the back, you get a quad rear camera setup with a 48MP main camera, 8MP Ultra-Wide-Angle Camera, 2MP macro camera and 2MP bokeh camera. The front module has a 32MP primary lens assisted by a 8MP Super Wide-Angle camera that broadens your selfie perspective by 25.6 degrees with a built-in AI algorithm.

The phone packs a 4,500mAh super big battery that has support for 33W vivo FlashCharge 2.0 technology which charges phone from 0% to 70% in just 40 minutes.
