Following the relaxations on the delivery of smartphones in India, Vivo is set to launch its new smartphone in the country, Vivo V19. This is another smartphone that would have been launched in India at least a couple of months ago but was delayed due to the nation-wide lockdown imposed in March. The company has now confirmed that it will unveil the device on May 12. Vivo V19 has already been launched globally on April 7.

Vivo V19 specifications and features: What to expect 

The Vivo V19 is likely to feature a 6.44-inch Full HD+ display of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The phone comes with a Super AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor and dual punch hole camera module on the front. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor combined by 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The storage is expandable using a microSD card.

For optics, the phone will have a quad-camera setup, which includes a 48-megapixel main shooter offering wide f/1.8 aperture and phase detection autofocus. It is paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel dedicated macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

On front, you will get what company claims to be the smallest punch hole on a smartphone yet with a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. The smartphone packs a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. 

The smartphone will be available for purchase in two color options, including Sleek Silver and Gleam Black.
