Just four days after launching camera-heavy vivo V17 Pro in India, the company has launched a budget offering - the vivo U10 in the country with triple rear camera, HD+ Halo FullView Display panel and a waterdrop-style notch. Designed exclusively for online customers, the smartphone has been priced at less than Rs 10,000 and comes with a dedicated Ultra Game Mode. The smartphone will come in two colour options - Electric Blue and Thunder Black. It will go on sale through Amazon.in and the Vivo India website starting September 29. The vivo U10 also features a fingerprint sensor at the back.

The Vivo U10 price in India starts at Rs 8,990 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant. The 3GB RAM + 64GB storage option comes at Rs 9,990, while the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs 10,990. This puts the vivo U10 in competition against Realme 5, Infinix Hot 8 and LG W30.

As part of launch offers, vivo is offering a 10 percent instant discount for SBI Bank card holders. The company is also offering no-cost EMI options for up to six months as well as benefits worth Rs 6,000 for Jio subscribers. The customers will also get Rs 750 discount on their next purchase from the Vivo India website.

Vivo U10 features

The vivo U10 features a 6.35-inch HD+ (720x1544 pixels) IPS Halo FullView Display with 89 percent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor and runs Android 9 Pie with Funtouch OS 9.1 on top. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging tech.

For optics, the vivo U10 comes with triple rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.2 lens, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with a 120-degree super-wide-angle f/2.2 lens, and a 2-megapixel portrait sensor with an f/2.4 lens. On the front, you get an 8-megapixel camera sensor for selfies.
