Launched last month in India to compete against OnePlus 7, Honor 20 and Oppo Reno, the Asus 6Z - a rebranded version of the Asus Zenfone 6 - will go on sale in the country for the first time on Monday. The 6GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant of the phone went on sale last week on Flipkart. Starting Monday, the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants will also be available on the e-commerce platform. The highlights of the smartphone are a 6.4-inch full-HD+ screen, 5,000mAh battery and a rotating dual camera module, and octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC.

Asus 6Z price in India for the 6GB + 128GB variant has been set at Rs 34,999. The 8GB + 256GB variant of the smartphone is priced Rs 39,999. As mentioned above, both the variants of the smartphone will be available on Flipkart from 12pm (noon) IST. The phone is offered in Midnight Black and Twilight Silver colour variants. As part of launch offers, the customers can get 5 per cent instant discount if the purchase is done using Axis Bank Buzz Credit Cards. Flipkart is also Complete Mobile Protection (normally costing Rs 3,999 for flagships) at Rs. 99. 

Asus 6Z features and specifications

The Asus 6Z comes with a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) IPS screen and is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM. It runs Android 9 Pie with Zen UI 6 on top. The phone offers a one of its kind flip camera module with a dual camera setup, which is used for both regular and selfie captures. The module comes with a 48-megapixel primary shooter with f/1.79 aperture and a 13-megapixel secondary ultra-wide-angle camera.

Apart from this, the Asus 6Z offers up to 256GB of onboard storage with a dedicated microSD card slot (up to 2TB).
