Heritage Global Partners is the host of the online auction. According to the company, there are over 600 items - including 265 kitchen appliances - that are on auction.

The company administering the auction also said that the bidding will start at just $25.

With just a few hours left to bid, the company's neon Twitter Bird light electrical display is currently priced at $22,500.

It is to be noted that Musk revealed in December 2022 that Twitter spends $13 million a year on food service.

Twitter last week failed to pay the rent for Twitter headquarters in San Francisco. Following this, Musk asked its remaining staff in Singapore to stop coming to the office. He asked employees to work remotely.

According to reports, the microblogging site has been sued after it failed to pay $136,250 rent for its office space in San Francisco. Also, Twitter has already shed its co-working spaces in Bengaluru and is reportedly planning to do the same in Delhi and Mumbai.
