The world's first triple rear camera system on a smartphone has just been launched. And this honour has gone to Chinese firm Huawei, which has launched the P20 Pro smartphone. The camera system of the phone will use artificial intelligence (AI) to help users take photos. The P20 Pro smartphones priced at £800 ($1,130) was launched at an event in Paris along with two other phones, P20 and P20 Lite, of the company. The company said the P20 Pro uses AI to identify objects and scenes in the camera's view and adjust its settings accordingly.  It can snap photos in near-dark conditions without using its flash or a tripod by taking exposures that can last up to six seconds to get enough light. 

The AI system of the phone allows it to adjust the settings of the camera. This adjustment helps the phone to avoid the blurring and smearing that often plagues photographers employing this technique handheld.

The smartphone will be available in the United Kingdom in April 2018. However, Huawei says that the phone will not be sold in the US. 

Colours: The phone are available in four colours and they are Pink Gold, Twilight, Black and Midnight Blue. 

Screen: It is almost bezel-less with ultra-thin edges. A small fingerprint sensor is fitted at the bottom of the device. 

Cameras: 
• P20 Pro carries separate colour, monochrome and telephoto lens on rear panel. 
• The triple-lens system comprises of 8MP, 20MP and 40MP sensors. 
• It carries a super-slow-motion video feature. 

Processor: The phone is powered by a Kirin 970 processor that enables automatic AI computing on the phone.
