Snapchat, famous for its image messaging and multimedia platform, has launched another feather to its application, allowing users to share some public ‘stories’ through links.
 
According to TechCrunch report, “Stories eligible for sharing right now include those official stories and our stories found in the discover tab, as well as search stories.”
 
The type of ‘stories’ which an user can share will expand over time.
 
In Snapchat, now you'll be able to hold down a tile on any public story and send it to someone in a text, an email, or even through other social media platforms, like Twitter and Facebook, reported Wired.com.
 
Currently, any image or stories shared on Snapchat stays online for just 24 hours.
 
With new application, the company seeks to enable users for sharing content from within the app to let people provide information to those, who do not use the platform.
 
It is expected that this new feature will go live to users running the redesigned Snapchat app, also there will be test carried in markets like Australia and Canada.
 
It is expected that Snapchat will make this service available on iOS and Android over next few weeks.
 
Snapchat is not alone in enhancing ‘Stories’ feature, social media-giant Facebook has also introduced a desktop upload tool for its Stories feature last week.
 
Almost all social media apps have decided to take next level in Stories feature. Recently, the Instagram announced a new GIF integration, which allows users animate Instagram stories with selections from Giphy's library.
 
Also, mobile app WhatsApp has make stories feature for its users.
