Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2020: Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series will be launched on August 5 during a virtual launch event, the South Korean giant has confirmed, on Wednesday morning. The line-up could include at least two smartphones. The company is expected to unveil few other devices on the same day, including its next foldable smartphone.

“On August 5, join us for a Galaxy Unpacked virtual event to explore our latest ecosystem of Galaxy devices designed to empower your life,” the invite added.

The invite comes with a 15-second video which gives some hint about the Galaxy Note 20 series. It shows a SPen and copper colour splash. While the SPen confirms the Galaxy Note20-series launch, the copper colour splash hints at possible new colour of the upcoming smartphone.

A recent leak had suggested that the Galaxy Note 20 series smartphones would come with a triple camera set-up on the back in a rectangular assembly similar to the Galaxy S20-series. It will consist of a wide-angle sensor, ultra-wide sensor and a periscope-style lens.

The smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset but can arrive in India with an Exynos processor. 

To recall, the company had launched two smartphones as part of the Note series – Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Plus. However, this year the nomenclature could be different. 

Meanwhile, the new generation Galaxy Fold might come with a larger display with the same Infinity-O shaped cut-out for camera. The company should also upgrade the specs. Samsung Galaxy Watch is expected to be launched on the same day was well with a new design. The company can also launched a new Galaxy earbuds.
