Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite has been launched in India, further expanding the company’s portfolio in the tablet segment. The new tablet follows last year’s Galaxy Tab S6, emerging as an affordable option. The tablet will go on sale exclusively on Amazon at 2 pm on Monday. The tablet is already available in some markets.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite price in India has been set at Rs 31,999 (LTE version) for the lone variant that comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The latter can be expanded by up to 1GB using a microSD card. The WiFi version will sell for Rs 27,999. This variant will be up for pre-orders between today and June 16 on Samsung.com, at select retail outlets and leading online portals.

As part of launch offers, customers can either get Galaxy Buds+ (worth Rs 11,900) at Rs 2,999 only or Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Book Cover (worth Rs 4,999) at Rs 2,500 only. The device will go on sale across retail stores, Samsung Opera House, Samsung.com and leading online portals on June 17.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite features 

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is powered by Exynos 9611 processor. It runs Android 10-based One UI 2.0 operating system. It features a 10.4-inch WUXGA (1200 x 2000 pixels) TFT display.  

The tablet has an 8-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus support. It packs a 7,040mAh battery. Connectivity includes 3.5mm audio jack, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, and GPS support. The tablet also has LTE variant with 4G data support. Galaxy Tab S6 Lite comes with dual speakers, with sound powered by AKG. It comes with Dolby Atmos 3D surround sound. 

Like the Galaxy Tab S6, the Lite edition comes with multi-purpose SPen. The new S Pen has an ergonomic design and weighs only 7.03 grams. Just like on the previous generation tab, the SPen snaps magnetically onto the right side of the tablet, or to the optional book cover case.
