"The highlight of the Galaxy S10 will indeed be the biggest feature cut from the Galaxy Note 9 -- an in-display fingerprint reader," IANS reported citing The Bell report. The company is likely to cut down its already slim top and bottom bezels. Smartphone maker Apple was lauded for the accuracy of Face ID recently. However, it was criticised earlier for removing the Touch ID fingerprint sensor altogether.

The Galaxy S10 should be a big hit if it can match the former in in-display reader on the iPhone X, the report said. In a separate development, Samsung's Galaxy Note 9 may be launched in less than two months.  The Note 9 is likely to have a big 6.38inch display, which is bigger than Note 8's 6.32inch, the Inquirer reported. According to reporrts, it could also be the first Samsung flagship to have an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

There is also report that Samsung might bring Android Go based phone. Android Go is Google's operating system built for entry-level smartphones. Asus and Lava have already devices based on Android Go.
