The Galaxy M series has been revolutionary for Samsung. Time and again tech analysts have credited the budget line up for changing the fortunes of this South Korean smartphone maker in India. The last few smartphones of the series distinguished themselves from others by a massive 6000 mAh battery. Now, the company is set to push the boundaries further by packing an even bigger battery in its next smartphone.

Samsung has been preparing to launch a new M 5 series smartphone, which is likely to be Samsung Galaxy M51. While the company is yet to confirm anything about it, a new leak suggests that the phone should pack a 7000 mAh battery.  

According to leakster Ishan Agarwal, the Samsung Galaxy M51 will pack a big 7,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. He further revealed that the Galaxy M51 will sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, and up to 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There will be a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model as well.

Meanwhile, another leakster with username the_tech_guy on Twitter, said that the phone will sport a big 6.67-inch AMOLED screen. The leak further reveals that the Samsung device will be powered by Snapdragon 730 processor that powers many other smartphones. These are the only specifications that the leak revealed. 

The triple rear camera setup on the phone can comprise of a 64MP primary sensor, 12MP secondary lens, and third, an ultra-wide-angle lens.  

Last month, Samsung had launched the Galaxy M31s in India. The Galaxy M31s succeeds this year’s Galaxy M31. It comes with the same 6000 mAh battery but packs a 25W-in box charger (usually found in more premium Samsung smartphones) and is also equipped with 64MP Intelli-Cam with Single Take Feature.
