Samsung Galaxy J6 price has been slashed again despite these smartphones having been sold in large quantities. The South Korean company may have reduced the price of these handsets to make them more competitive in this fiercely contested range.  Samsung has also slashed prices of other devices.  With this price cut, Samsung Galaxy J6 3GB RAM variant is available at retail shops for Rs 12,490, and the 4GB RAM variant for Rs 13,990. Galaxy J6 was at Rs 13,990 for the 3GB RAM variant, and Rs 16,490 for the 4GB RAM variant when it was launched in India earlier this year.

Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom revealed the Galaxy J6 price cut. With this cut, Galaxy J6 smartphones will be more competitive in the Rs. 10,000-15,000 price segment and help Samsung compete against Chinese brands such as Xiaomi and Honor. Galaxy J6’s 3GB RAM variant witnessed its first price cut in August  to Rs. 12,990. Samsung also first reduced the price of 4GB RAM model in July this year to Rs. 15,990.

The smartphone has been a success in India. It has 5.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display running at a resolution of 1480×720 pixels and has aspect ratio of 18.5:9.

The smartphone is powered by an Exynos 7870 SoC. In the 3GB RAM version, it comes with 32GB storage option, while in the 4GB RAM version, it comes with 64GB storage option. For further expansion, a microSD card slot is also there in the handset.

Camera:

The smartphone has a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. The front and rear cameras come with an LED flash. 

The smartphone has a 3,000mAh battery. It has connectivity options include dual SIM card slots 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi. The smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung Experience UI on top.
