In a mega virtual event, Samsung on Wednesday launched its next-gen smart products including the new foldable smartphone Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Buds Live, alongside company’s flagship Note series. It also launched the Galaxy Tab S7 series. All the products were unveiled during a virtual event However, the images of these products were leaked hours before the launch, stealing some thunder from Samsung.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 comes as a successor to the Galaxy Fold and features a 7.6-inch Super AMOLED foldable display with 120Hz refresh rate. On top, it has a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED cover display. The smartphone is powered by top-of-the-line Snapdragon 865 or Exynos 990 SoC as the processor option and up to 12GB RAM.  

Samsung has also partnered with iconic New York fashion house Thom Browne to deliver a limited Galaxy Z Fold 2 Thom Browne Edition.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 price and features  

It comes in two different sizes — 41mm and 45mm — and two models — Wi-Fi and LTE. The 41mm smartwatch will have a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED circular display with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass DX on top. The 45mm model will have a 1.4-inch Super AMOLED screen. 

The watch offers 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory. It continues to feature a rotating bezel for managing tasks. The 45mm smartwatch will have a 340 mAh battery, whereas the 41mm model will pack a 247 mAh cell. 

Galaxy Tab S7 series

Samsung has launched two new tablets - Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+. They come in three colours — silver, rose gold, and deep grey. The Android tablet has support for S Pen and a folio keyboard. It features a bottom-firing speaker and a USB Type-C Port. The rear houses a dual-camera module with a 13MP + 5MP sensor setup. The Tab S7 features an 11-inch display, whereas the Tab S7+ will have a 12.4-inch Super AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate.

The standard model comes with a 8000 mAh battery while the Tab S7+ packs a 10,090 mAh battery. 

Galaxy Buds Live 

The Galaxy Buds Live will sport a beans-like design with a wing-tip. They combine AKG’s sound expertise with a bigger, 12mm speaker compared to Galaxy Buds+. Galaxy Buds Live come with three microphones and Voice Pickup Unit so you can feel like you’re in the same room as your loved ones, even when you’re apart. They offer up to 8 hours of battery life on buds and 20 hours on the case.
