One of the most anticipated smartphones of India, Samsung Galaxy A9, is scheduled for launch today. This is the world's first smartphone with a quad rear camera setup. The device is expected to be launched in the mid-range premium segment.
 
The company is all set to host the Galaxy A9 in India launch in Gurugram today. The livestream of the event can been viewed through Samsung India Newsroom or Samsung Bharat Newsroom starting from 12:30 pm IST, according to a timesnownews.com report.
 
Samsung Galaxy A9 sports a quad camera set up at the rear along with a 24-megapixel main rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and LED flash. The 24-megapixel front camera with 120-degree ultrawide camera with f/2.4 aperture and a 5-megapixel depth camera with f/2.2 aperture.
 
Galaxy A9 will come with larger and wider 6.3-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with 1080×2220 pixels resolution for immersive viewing experience.
 
The device is powered by Octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with Adreno 512 GPU and will house an ergonomic design with a 3D glass-curved back.
 
The new smartphone is powered by 3800mAh battery with adaptive fast charging. Rs 39,000 is the expected starting price of the smartphone.
 
Samsung globally launched Galaxy A9 in Malaysia last month.
