Samsung has launched a new mid-range smartphone in India – the Samsung Galaxy A31, which succeeds last year’s Samsung Galaxy A30. The new smartphone comes with waterdrop-style display notch, quad rear camera setup and surprisingly, MediaTek Helio P65 processor. Samsung is known to use its own Exynos chipsets in its smartphone but has lately powered some of its devices with Qualcomm and MediatTek chips. The Samsung Galaxy A31 includes an in-display fingerprint sensor, support for storage expansion, and fast charging support.

The Samsung Galaxy A31 price in India has been set at Rs 21,999 for its 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The phone comes in Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush Blue, and Prism Crush White colour options. The smartphone goes on sale today via Amazon, Flipkart, BeNow, Samsung India eStore, apart from offline retailers.

The Samsung Galaxy A31 features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Infinity-U Display with Super AMOLED panel and is powered by MediaTek Helio P65 chipset. It runs Android 10 with One UI on top.

For optics, you get a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.0 lens and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter that has an f/2.2 aperture. The camera setup also has a 5-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens and a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens. On front, there is a 20-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front that is paired with an f/2.2 lens.

The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging.
