Samsung India has launched its fourth smartphone in the Galaxy A series in India - Samsung Galaxy A20. Priced at Rs 12,490, the smartphone aims to disrupt the value segment in India and will take on recently launched Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro. The Note 7 has been priced at Rs 9,999 while the base variant of Note 7 Pro has been priced at Rs 13,999. It comes with a dual rear camera with an ultra-wide lens, next-gen Infinity-V display and a powerful 4,000mAh battery with fast charging capability. The dual rear camera allows users to shoot stunning Ultra-wide videos and photos. In addition, the 13MP primary lens permits for great low-light photography.

It has a 6.4” HD+ Infinity-V display for an enriching viewing experience. The smartphone is powered by a 4,000mAh battery which comes with the 15W fast charging with USB Type C connectivity. It is powered by an Exynos 7884 Octa-core processor and comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory, making it a decent device for gaming, watching videos, multi-tasking and browsing.

The phone has been launched in three colours - Red, Blue and Black and will be available from April 8, 2019 on the Samsung e-Store, Samsung Opera House, leading e-commerce portals and retail stores across the country.

Galaxy A20 will come with the latest Android Pie and Samsung One UI.

Meanwhile, the other variant of the phone - Galaxy A20e, has reportedly received US FCC certification. It is likely to be positioned lower than launched Samsung Galaxy A20. The company had recently launched Galaxy A30 and the Galaxy A50 to give people more smartphones to choose from on a budget.
