The South Korean electronics giant Samsung is set to revamp its Galaxy A lineup with fresh models in 2020. The same has been confirmed by a video posted on company's Vietnam YouTube channel which confirms that new smartphones will be launched on December 12. The video shows the improvements Samsung has made in the camera department over the J series and A series so far. It also hints at what to expect from the new models of this series.

In 2019, Samsung had launched several smartphones as part of its Galaxy A series including Galaxy A50, Galaxy A50s, Galaxy A70s, Galaxy A80 and Galaxy A30s. Reports suggest that the first smartphones to come under the new line up will be A51 and A71. Renders of these two phones, with similar design and an L-shaped quad-camera setup on the back, were spotted recently.

The Galaxy A51 wis expected to come with  6.5-inch Super AMOLED display and is likely to be powered by Exynos 9611 processor. It can pack a 4000 mAh battery and might feature a 32-megapixel front shooter. The other smartphones that can be launched in this series are - A21, A31, A41, A61, A81, and A91 beside A51 and A71. Samsung is said to be working on a Galaxy A81 which could come with S-Pen stylus support.

Separately, Zee Business Online has learnt the smartphone maker is set to launch as many as three smartphones in India in January. Out of these, two are confirmed to be Samsung Galaxy S10 lite and Samsung Galaxy Note 10 lite - the affordable variants of the flaghship level smartphones by Samsung. The third device could be Galaxy A51.

However, there is no official word from Samsung on this.
