In a bid to take on Reliance Jio's 'Holiday Hungama' offer, Bharti Airtel has also come with a new plan by refreshing its Rs 399 prepaid plan to offer 2.4GB data per day. As opposed to the 1.4GB of daily high-speed data, Airtel consumer will now enjoy 2.4GB of 3G/4G data per day under this Rs 399 prepaid recharge plan.

Although the plan is available for a limited set of users, the move is stated to help Airtel to compete in a better way against Reliance Jio that offers 1.5GB of daily data with a validity of 84 days at the same price. The closest prepaid plan to Airtel’s new offer is the Jio's Rs 448 pack extending 2GB of data per day for 84 days.

The new Airtel prepaid plan is bundled with unlimited calls (local, STD, and roaming) along with the 2.4GB data per day, and also offers 100 SMS every day with the validity period of 70 days.

Notably, some selected users will get a validity of 84 days bringing the total data available to them to 201.6GB (for 84 days).

Airtel has also unveild a new prepaid pack of Rs 9 that comes with a validity of a single day, offering unlimited calling for both local and STD numbers, coupled with calls on the roaming network. It also offers 100MB of data and 100 SMS for the validity period.

Earlier, Reliance Jio launched 'Holiday Hungama' plan for its prepaid users, offering its top selling plan Rs 399 at effectively Rs 299, by providing a Rs 100 instant discount. The discount is available on MyJio app for those consumers who go through PhonePe. The limited period plan, between June 1 and June 15, 2018, has been launched to cater to holiday goers.
