Xiaomi is expected to launch RedmiBook Pro 2022 series laptops in China on Thursday. The global tech company will also introduce its much-awaited Redmi K50 smartphones in the country.

Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi Group China and GM of Redmi announced the launch date via Weibo with a poster. "Challenge the peak performance of thin and light notebooks," BGR India reported quoting Lu Weibing.

Weibing has hinted that this launch event will be extremely important for the Redmi brand, where the company is likely to update its multiple devices with the latest hardware. The teaser that has been shared hints that the laptops will focus on performance and will be packed inside of a thin and light body.

According to a BGR India report, RedmiBook Pro 2022 will be a successor to the RedmiBook Pro, which was launched in India early last year. The new model will be reportedly launch in multiple variants, one of which was recently spotted on Geekbench powered by the 12th Gen Intel Core Core i7-12650H processor.

It managed to gain a single core score of 800 and a multi-core score of 11872.  RedmiBook Pro 2022 was earlier spotted on the Bluetooth SIG website. The report hinted that the company will launch seven different variants of RedmiBook Pro 14 and RedmiBook Pro 15.

Three variants of the RedmiBook Pro 14 2022 sporting a 14-inch display and four variants of the RedmiBook Pro 15 2022 sporting a 15.6-inch display. Both the laptop series will come with support for Bluetooth v5.1 and will ship with Windows 11 out of the box.

The company has not announced when it will bring any of these upcoming laptops, but as of now, it is too early to say. However, the company is expected to upgrade its current offerings in the country soon with the latest specs.
