Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro price in India: The smartphone is available for buyers in a flash sale today at Mi.com and Flipkart. Redmi Note 5 Pro, which supports microSD card, comes in two variants of 4GB RAM+64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 64GB storage. The buyers, who have registered on Flipkart and Mi.com, have only been notified about this sale. The Chinese technology firm has removed cash on delivery option for the sale of the Redmi Note 5 Pro. The company said this was done to tackle fraud and prevent resale of the devices.

Redmi Note 5 Pro's starting price for 4GB RAM variant is Rs 13,999, while 6GB RAM version is available at a price tag of Rs 16,999. Like Redmi Note 5, this premium phone has a 5.99-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio and full HD+ resolution, and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor.

Featuring a dual rear camera with 12MP+5MP combination and a 20MP front camera, Redmi Note 5 Pro boasts of a 4000 mAh battery. This Xiaomi smartphone runs on Android Nougat 7.1.2 with MIUI 9 on top. Available in Black, Gold, Blue and Rose Gold colour options, Redmi Note 5 Pro also has a facial recognition feature. Sporting large displays, big batteries, high-resolution cameras, Redmi Note 5 Pro is, in fact, one of the few smartphones with 6GB RAM under Rs 20,000, and stated to be the best smartphones under this price tag. A banner on the Flipkart homepage flashes a message that it will be available on no-cost EMIs on payments made through HDFC Bank credit. Xiaomi is also giving away an ultra-slim case for free with it, while Jio is providing cashback worth Rs 2,200 (in the form of vouchers) and up to 4.5TB data. The buyers on Mi.com using Paytm will get a cashback of Rs 600, along with a free 3-month subscription for Hungama Music.

Among other features, the dual-SIM Redmi Note 5 Pro, which runs MIUI 9 based on Android Nougat, has an identical 5.99-inch full-HD (1080x2160 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass. Powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 636 SoC, it is coupled with Adreno 509 GPU. The presence of the Snapdragon 636 SoC is stated to make this phone "fastest Redmi Note ever" with an AnTuTu score of 109,692. The new smartphone also has a rear-facing fingerprint sensor, besides face unlock feature through a recent update.

The handset also boasts of 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB.
