Redmi Note 12 Series: Xiaomi recently launched its much-anticipated smartphone series, Redmi Note 12, in India. The sale of all three smartphones under this series - Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus - are now on sale. Branded as 'SuperNote', the Redmi Note 12 series comes with various segment-first features. While all three devices under this series are 5G-ready, there are some differences in terms of camera, battery, and charging.

Redmi Note 12 5G: Price and Specifications

 

There are two variants of Redmi Note 12 5G i.e. 4GB+128 GB and 6GB+128GB. The prices of these variants are Rs 17,999 and Rs 19,999. But there are some discounts and offers that will bring down the prices to Rs 16,499 and Rs 18,499. There is Rs 1,000 additional discount for existing Xiaomi/ Mi and Redmi smartphone users and this will bring down the prices to Rs 15,499 and Rs 17,499.

In terms of features, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor, 48MP AI Triple camera, Super AMOLED display with 120Hz Refresh Rate and a peak brightness of 1200n nits. To be honest this base variant is not offering much as it has just 33W fast charging, much less compared to its more expensive siblings.

In terms of features, it offers 120W superfast charging and a triple camera setup with a primary sensor of 200MP. The phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1080 MT6877V with 8GB RAM. 

Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G is the most expensive phone but it also has some excellent features. This device is for those who simply don't mind paying extra for top specifications. But Redmi Note 12 Pro has sufficient features and is priced more aggressively. Therefore, this is the best value for money out of the three devices.
