Redmi K40 series is all set to launch in China on Thursday (Today). The Smartphone brand Xiaomi is expected to launch two smartphones Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro in the country. Before the official launch of the Redmi K40 series, the company itself has revealed some of the key specifications about the smartphones.

According to the reports, the high-end model of the series is said to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship Snapdragon 888 SoC while the base option could be powered by Snapdragon 700 series chipset. Talking about the pricing of Redmi K40 series, the company, earlier, revealed that Redmi K40 series will be carrying a starting price of 2,999 yuan (Rs 33,600 approx). This is likely to be the base variant in the Redmi K40 series, and more premium options with better RAM and storage can be expected to launch alongside.
