Redmi India, a sub-brand of Xiaomi, has finally launched a new variant of famous Redmi 9 Power which comes with an upgraded 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. It is priced at Rs 12,999 and can be bought from Mi.com, Amazon India, Mi Homes and Mi Studios and other offline retail stores.
Existing Redmi 9 Power variants– 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB are available for Rs 10,499 and Rs 11,999, respectively. This Redmi 9 Power 6GB+128GB model is available in four colour options, Mighty Black, Blazing Blue, Fiery Red and Electric Green.

Redmi 9 Power 6GB+128GB model specifications
The smartphone features a 6.53-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution display with a waterdrop notch cutout for the 8MP selfie camera. The screen is protected with Gorilla Glass 3. The device has a quad-camera setup on the back with a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
The Redmi 9 Power is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset with an octa-core CPU and Adreno 610 GPU up to 2.0GHz. The smartphone runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 10. The device is powered by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
The Redmi 9 Power has 198 grams and 9.6mm of thickness. The device also comes with stereo speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The device comes with Connectivity options -- 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Infrared (IR), USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
