Redmi 12 Series sales surpass 3 million units in less than 100 days

Xiaomi India's latest number series launch - Redmi 12 Series - has surpassed 3 million units within 100 days of sale. The Series features two devices - the Redmi 12 5G and Redmi 12. "Celebrating million empowered lives with the #Redmi12 Series and its groundbreaking #5G connectivity!" Xiaomi India said in a Tweet. 

At the time of launch, the Redmi 12 5G was India's first smartphone to come with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 5G processor. 

The Series comes with a crystal glass back design and a 6.79 FHD+ display - the largest display on a Redmi smartphone yet - which supports 90Hz support. It has Corning Gorilla Glass protection at the back and also comes with an IP53 rating.

Redmi 12 Series: Price and Variant 

Redmi 12 4G is priced at Rs 8,999 for 4GB + 128GB and Rs 10,499 for 6GB + 128GB. The 5G variant of Redmi 12 is available in three variants. The base variant 4GB+128GB is available at Rs 10,999. The device will cost  Rs 12,499 for 6GB + 128GB and Rs 14,499 for 8GB + 256GB.

The Redmi 12 Series comes in three colours - Jade Black, Pastel Blue, and Moonstone Silver.

Redmi 12: Camera 

The Redmi 12 smartphone has a triple camera setup at the rear with a primary camera of 50MP. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor with LED flash.
