After shaking up the budget segment with back to back offerings, the company is set to enter the battle of big boys with its next smartphone - Realme X2 Pro - confirmed to be launched in India in December. Realme CEO Madhav Sheth confirmed the news on Twitter on Wednesday afternoon saying that it is "Time to rethink flagships." Realme X2 Pro will be the biggest launch from the Chinese manufacturer till date and will take on the flagship offerings from OnePlus, Samsung, Oppo, Asus and Honor, among others.

The new smartphone has been teased on social media platforms multiple times so far and is set to be launched in Europe on October 15. Madhav confirmed that it will come with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 Plus processor which has only been used on two devices till now - Asus ROG Phone II and OnePlus 7T. Madhav added that Realme X2 Pro will come with a 90Hz display and announced a giveaway of the handset.

Realme has confirmed that this smartphone will offer an improved in-display fingerprint sensor and TUV Rheinland eye protection, with a waterdrop-style display. It is likely to come with a 64-megapixel primary lens like Realme XT. "It's official now! We are bringing #realmeX2Pro to India in Dec. Time to rethink flagships. Get ready for #FasterSharperBolder," Madhav tweeted.

The teasers posted by the Chinese smartphone maker confirm that Realme X2 Pro will feature a new generation G3.0 light-sensitive screen fingerprint module which will unlock in just 0.23 seconds. A post on Weibo also confirms that the Realme X2 Pro comes with TUV Rheinland eye protection certification.

The smartphone will also come with 50W SuperVOOC fast charging technology, dual stereo speakers and Dolby Audio support.
