Realme has dropped yet another smartphone, this time in China, to take on the big boys. The company has unveiled Realme X2 Pro - its first flagship smartphone - already confirmed to be launched in India in December. The smartphone comes with top of the line features like Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor, 90Hz display and 50W SuperVOOC fast charging support. The phone will also be launched in Europe today itself. The company has also announced a Realme X2 Pro Master Edition designed by Naoto Fukasawa. Earlier, the designer had also come up with two unique variants of Realme X.

Realme X2 Pro Price

In China, Realme X2 Pro price starts at CNY 2,599 (approx Rs 26,100) for the base model with 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The Realme X2 Pro also comes in 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB variants that are priced at CNY 2,799 (approx Rs 28,100) and CNY 3,199 (approx Rs 32,200), respectively. The India price is likely to be around the same mark. This means that the smartphone should compete against OnePlus 7 and Redmi K20 Pro, among other devices. Pre-orders in China begin today and shipments commence starting October 18.

Realme X2 Pro specifications

Realme X2 Pro features a 6.5-inch FHD+ (2400x1080) Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has 90Hz refresh rate which is offered by OnePlus 7T. The smartphone is powered by a 2.9GHz Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset based on a 7nm process. The processor has been used on select devices till now. It comes in 6GB, 8GB and 12GB RAM options with up to 256GB internal storage in China.

The smartphone features a 64MP quad camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 primary sensor, a 13-megapixel telephoto lens with 20x hybrid zoom support, 8MP super wide-angle lens and macro lens. It also features a 16MP front-facing camera. This is Realme's first smartphone to have 50W SuperVOOC fast charging support for the 4000 mAh battery.
