The wait is over! Realme is set to launch its first ever smart TV in India on May 25. Called Realme TV, the smart TV was confirmed earlier this year and was expected to be launched in the first week of April. However, it was delayed due to the coronavirus outbreak and nation-wide lockdown in India. It will now be launched during an online streaming event along with company’s first smart watch.

The smart TV will strengthen Realme’s consistently growing portfolio of smart home and lifestyle devices. The company has already launched wireless earbuds and fitness band in India in the recent months. 

The Realme TV and Realme Watch will be categorised under company's UNI Smart AIoT ecosystem, which was detailed at the launch of Realme 6 series in March. The online launch event for both the devices will start at 12:30 pm on Monday. A recorded message will be live-streamed on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter simultaneously for users to catch up with the real-time updates from the event.

Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has also shared a fresh video teaser on Twitter that shows the outline of the top of the Realme Watch.

As of now limited information is available about the the Realme TV. Some leaks have suggested that the TV could come in different sizes – ranging from 32-inch to 55-inch. Its remote control was also certified on the Bluetooth SIG website. Later, Realme TV was claimed to have been spotted on the Android TV certification website, hinting that the upcoming TV will run Google's Android ecosystem.

An image from the retail packaging revealed that the TV is confirmed to come in at least 43-inch size . It is likely to have HDR10 and Dolby Vision support.
