Realme has launched its highly-awaited truly wireless ear buds - Realme Buds Air in India on Tuesday afternoon. The Realme Buds Air were teased by the Chinese smartphone maker on multiple ocassions ahead of the launch and are a Apple AirPods look-alike. The new ear buds will act as an alternative to more expensive Apple AirPods and Samsung Galaxy Buds. Realme Buds Air will be available in three colour options - Black, Yellow and White. They will support wireless charging, making them one of the most affordable options with this tech.

The Realme Buds Air price in India has been set at Rs 3,999. The buds will start selling via Flipkart and Realme.com starting 2PM on December 17. The company is hosting a “hate-to-wait” sale for the customers. The first sale for Realme Buds Air will start on December 17. 

Realme Buds Air Features

Realme Buds look a lot like Apple Air Pods but offer multiple colour options. They come in a compact charging case that has a USB Type-C port and a physical button (for pairing). There’s also an LED indicator on the charging case. They support Bluetooth pairing and have a wear detection feature which enables the device to automatically recognise when you’re using it. The buds also claim to offer 17 hour playback and have dual mic for calling.

They also come with touch controls. This means you can long tap to activate the Google Assistant (on Android). You can also use the touch controls to play or pause music or move to the next track. Realme has also equipped the buds with a low latency gaming mode which ensures seamless audio experience when you’re playing a game.
