PUBG lovers, take note! The biggest championship in the game's history is here. Tencent Games has announced the PUBG Mobile Club Open 2019. In this year-long event, pro and semi-pro teams will compete against each other for whopping $2 million prize pool (around Rs 14 crore) - the biggest prize money in the game's history so far. To participate in the event, gamers should have attained Platinum rank at the end of last season and must have parental consent if they are under the local age. At least three players from each team must be from the region they are competing in order to represent.

The registrations for the event had started on PUBG official website on March 8 and will end on March 18. The interested players can go to the official website and register themselves. The PUBG Mobile Club Open 2019 has been divided into the Spring Split and Fall Split with each with a separate prize pool and Global Finals. 

Even though there is no official confirmation on this, the date for the Spring Split Global Finals has been tipped to be July 2019.

Last year, Tencent Game had hosted PUBG Mobile Star Challenge 2018 Tournaments. It had claimed that the event got a whopping 230 million views online and had over 5,000 attendees during the finals at Dubai. The competition was won by Thailand-based RRQ Athena.

How to register for PUBG Mobile Club Open 2019

1. Log into the game and register your crew on pubgmobile.com/esports

2. Create a crew in the crew challenge system. You must use the use the exact same crew name and crew members.

3. Register for the crew challenge under TPP mode

PUBG Mobile Club Open 2019 eligibility

1. All players must be over 16 years and above as of the Tournament start date to participate.

2. All players under local legal age of majority must have parental consent to participate.

3. Age restriction and rule will be applied per legal age regulation in each region.

4. At least three players from each team must be from the region they are competing to represent.

5. All participating players must be at least the rank of Platinum at the end of the prior season.
