Taiwanese smartphone brand Asus has announced a price cut for its 2018 flagship device - the Asus Zenfone 5Z - in India. The Asus Zenfone 5Z price in the country has been slashed by Rs 3,000 for both 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM variants. After the latest price cut, the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the smartphone is retailing in the country at Rs 24,999 instead of Rs 27,999 while the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the device is selling at Rs 28,999 instead of Rs 31,999. The new prices have been applicable on Flipkart since Wednesday i.e. July 24.

The smartphone manufacturer has been on a price slashing spree in the country, reducing the price of two of its entry-level smartphones recently - Zenfone Max M1 and Zenfone Max M2. The former received a price cut of up to Rs 1,500 and now sells Rs 7,999 onwards. The Zenfone Max M2’s price has been reduced by Rs 1,000 and is up for grabs at starting price of Rs 7,999.

Asus ZenFone5Z features and specs
