After months of wait, the new Poco smartphone has finally been launched in India. Days after splitting from its parent company Xiaomi, Poco has launched its new smartphone in the country - Poco X2. This is the second smartphone to have been launched in India under the Poco branding, coming almost one and a half years after the Poco F1. The smartphone brings high-end features like 120Hz refresh rate and 27W fast charging, among others, to the mid-range segment. The sale starts on 11th February 2020.

Poco X2 price in India

Poco X2 price in India starts at Rs 15,999 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage model, the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 16,999 while the 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage model would cost you Rs. 19,999. The smartphone is believed to be a re-branded version of the Redmi K30 4G which is selling in China at CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs 16,300) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage option, while its 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs 17,300). The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model costs CNY 1,899 (roughly Rs 19,300) in China.

To recall, the Poco F1 was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 20,999. However, it has received multiple price cuts since then and is currently selling for around Rs 14,999.

Poco X2 specs and features

The biggest highlight of the Poco X2 is its 120Hz display. The screen refresh rate is found only on a few smartphones in India. Poco X2 features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ display with a dual hole-punch design and 20:9 aspect ratio. It has dual selfie cameras with a 20-megapixel primary sensor, and a quad rear camera setup that would include a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel secondary sensor, 2-megapixel tertiary sensor, and a 2-megapixel quaternary sensor.

Poco X2 phone comes with support for 27W fast charging which claims to provide 0 to 40 percent of charge in just 25 minutes. It features a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack and side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Poco X2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor.

Poco X2 packs a 4,500mAh battery. It has been launched in three colour options - Atlantis blue, Matrix purple and Phoenix red.
