Poco has priced its new smartphone very aggressively in India. Poco X2 price in India starts at 15,999 for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model costs you Rs 16,999 while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is available for Rs 19,999.

On the other hand, Realme X2 price in India starts at Rs 16,999 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage while you will have to spend Rs 19,999 for the high-end variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Poco X2 vs Realme X2: Design and Display

A re-branded version of the Redmi K30 launched in China, Poco X2 was launched in three colour options - Atlantis Blue, Phoenix Red and Matrix Purple. The Realme X2 also comes in three colour options - Pearl Green, Pearl Blue and Pearl White. On the Realme X2, you get a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner while the Poco X2 comes with a taller 6.7-inch display with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The major difference between the two smartphones is the 120Hz display that you get on the Poco X2 while the Realme X2 sports 60Hz display.

There is not much to choose between the devices here. Both the smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset with similar RAM configuration. So, you can expect similar kind of performance. The Poco X2 runs MIUI 11 based on Android 10 and on the Realme device, you get Realme UI update based on Android 10.

On the battery front, things are very similar too. The Poco X2 comes with a 4500mAh battery with 27W fast charging that claims to charge the phone up to 30 per cent in 15 minutes. The Realme X2, meanwhile, has a 4000mAh battery with VOOC 4.0 30W fast-charging system that juices up the device to 67 per cent in 30 minutes.

Poco X2 vs Realme X2: Cameras

While both the smartphones have exactly the same camera configuration, Poco X2 ships with an all new Sony sensor. Both the phones feature quad-cam setup with a 64-megapixel main sensor paired with 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth camera. On Poco device, you get Sony IMX686 sensor while Realme smartphone uses Samsung's ISOCELL sensor.

The Realme X2 has a 32-megapixel selfie camera and the Poco X2 features a 20-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup on the front.

Poco X2 vs Realme X2: Which smartphone is for you?

Simply going by the specs on offer, the Poco X2 emerges as a lot more exciting prospect than the Realme X2. It has a taller screen, better refresh rate and bigger battery for a lot less than what you would pay for the Realme X2. The latter, however, gives you faster charging and near stock Android experience. Also, the Super AMOLED display has its advantages.
