In a new tweet on Tuesday afternoon, Poco India confirmed that the smartphone will come with a 120Hz display. "You wanted to hear this. It's time to Xperience the Xtreme with a display that is #SmoothAF. Introducing the awesome 120Hz display on the #POCOX2," the tweet read.

While most flagship level smartphones in India including OnePlus 7 series, Redmi K20 series and Realme X2 Pro feature a 90Hz refresh rate display, only Asus ROG Phone II is offering 120Hz screen right now. The initial images and details about the phone suggest that it could be a rebranded variant of Redmi K30 4G model.

However, more details will emerge with the launch set for February 4.

Redmi K30 4G variant also comes with 120Hz display and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. A teaser by Poco has confirmed that the phone will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, liquid cooling, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack.

If the smartphone turns out to be a version of Redmi K30 4G variant, it should come with a 6.67-inch full-HD+ display with dual hole-punch design, Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC, and quad rear cameras. The phone can pack a 4,500mAh battery with 27W fast charging.
