In a bid to compete with other smartphone brands Xiaomi, Samsung and Vivo, Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has just reduced the priced of its mid-range smartphone Oppo R17 Pro by Rs 6,000. The device was launched in December last with a price tag of Rs 45990. Now, the company has brought down the price of the device to Rs 39,990. This price reduction is same for sale through both offline and online channels. The price cut was initially reported by 91Mobiles.

Oppo R17 Pro is being offered at Rs 39,990 on Flipkart and on Amazon the phone is priced at Rs 39,499.

Xiaomi recently launched its latest Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and the Note 7 Pro. Samsung has has launched six smartphones - Samsung Galaxy M10, M20, and M30 and Galaxy A10, A30, and A50. 

Vivo recently announced the lauch of its latest Vivo V15 Pro in the market.

Oppo R17 Pro is available with 8GB RAM, 128 GB storage options. The phone comes with  12MP+20MP rear camera with TOF 3D, Smart Aperture, sensor HDR+RAW HDR, HDR preview, Ultra night mode (handheld supported), optical image stabilization, 7P lens. The phone has a 25MP front-facing camera.

The device is of 16.25 centimeters (6.4-inch) with multi-touch capacitive touchscreen of 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, 402 ppi pixel density and 16M color support.

It has dual nano SIM with dual standby (4G+4G) and Android v8.1 Oreo Color OS 5.2 operating system with 2.2GHz Snapdragon 710 octa core processor. The phone is powered by a 3700mAH lithium-polymer battery.
