Smartphone maker Oppo has launched its latest smartphone Oppo F9 in China which comes with a unique V-shaped notch. The smartphone comes with a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8 percent and a 25-megapixel front camera. Priced at VND 7,690,000 in Vietnam which is roughly Rs 23,300 in India, this device would be launched on August 21 in India, as announced by the company during its China launch. The device is available in three colours-  Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue, and Starry Purple.

Oppo F9 specifications
Oppo F9 is powered by the Helio P60 SoC and features ARM Mali-G72 GPU. It also comes with 4GB and 6GB of RAM with a standard storage of 64GB. 

The smartphone features a 6.3-inch LTPS TFT screen with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. There is also a  small notch at the top where the camera fits in.

Coming to the camera front, the smartphone has a dual camera setup at its rear side which consists of a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. Both the cameras feature f/1.8 and f/2.4 aperture. At the front, the device comes with a 25-megapixel camera with a f/2.0 aperture.

The connectivity options of Oppo F9 include GPS, dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, microUSB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. 

The device is powered by a 3,500mAh battery that also supports Oppo’s VOOC fast charging technology. It runs Android 8.1 Oreo layered with ColorOS 5.2.
