Chinese mobile communication company Oppo Electronics is set to launch Oppo F7 in India on Monday (March 26). The technology firm's statement has already informed about some features and specifications of the new smartphone, but details still remain a mystery as the launch event would only be able to unravel more information. According to gadgets.ndtv.com, Oppo F7 will have a 6.2-inch full-HD+ (1080x2280 pixels) Super Full Screen display panel with aspect ratio of 19:9 and 89.09 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Referring to a recent leak, the report says the smartphone will be powered by oct-core MediaTel Helio P60 chip (four Cortex A73 cores at 2GHz and four Cortex A53 cores at 2GHz). The new smartphone will reportely have the Mali-G72MP3 GPU and 6GB of RAM, along with a 16-megapixel camera on the back, with f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording, and dual-tone LED flash. The new device will reportedly have a 25-megapixel camera in front.

Talking about features of the new device Oppo F7, the report says it may showcase similar design reminiscent of iPhone X. Other features of Oppo F7 may include AI selfie, AI Beauty Technology 2.0, Real-time HDR modes in the camera, along with having Cover Shot and AR Stickers similar to Vivo V9 handset.
The launch event, as per ticker on the Oppo India website, will start at 2:30pm IST tomorrow. The company has roped in crickete icons like Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and Ravichandran Ashwin as brand ambassadors.
The Oppo F7 is reportedly powered by a MediaTek processor with tons of AI-based selfie enhancements, and will be the second smartphone with a notch launching in India, after the Vivo 9.
The specifications of the Oppo F7 leaked through a sales pitch manual, as reported by Smartprix, reveal that the new device will have an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 SoC with four Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2GHz, four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2GHz, paired with Mali-G72MP3 GPU and 6GB of RAM.
