Oppo launched the Oppo F5 in India on Thursday price starting from Rs 19,990. The smartphone which was launched in the Philippines earlier this month finally made it to the Indian market.

Like the new top end smartphones launched recently, the Oppo F5 gets rid of the thick bezels the display like seen in previous models. The Oppo F5 has a 6 inch display.

The Oppo F5's first sale will start from November 9. The Oppo F5 6GB variant will go on sale from December 2, 2017.

The Oppo F5 is a successor to the F3 and the F3 Plus, and looks similar to Vivo's recently launched V7 Plus.

In terms of the specifications, the Oppo F5 comes with the Helio P23 chip and the display also gets an upgrade to an FHD+ resolution.

Besides this, it has 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variants that have internal storage of 32GB and 64GB options, respectively. The internal storage on the phone can be expanded up to 256 GB using a microSD card.

In terms of connectivity options it comes with 4G LTE bands, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 2.4/5 GHz 802.11 a/b/g/n and a USB port at the bottom.

The front camera comes with a 20 megapixel f/2.0 sensor and the back camera has a 16 megapixel camera and an LED flash.

It has a 3200mAh battery and runs Android 7.1 with the Oppo custom ColorOS skinning

The 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage version of the device will be available in gold and black colours for Rs 19,999 and the 6GB variant will be available in red and black for Rs 24,990.
